Logic3 unveil iStationGo travel speakers

Logic3-mp3 Player

Logic3 unveiled their new line of portable speakers, the iStationGo range.

The fold-away iStationGo speakers come in pink, blue, silver and black, with rounded edges that should make the speakers go easy on the lining of your bag. The speakers ship with a protective cloth carry case and four AAA batteries.

Thanks to a 3.5mm headphone jack, the iStationGo speakers will be compatible with a whole range of MP3 players and mobile phones. The four included AAA batteries will power the speakers for 15 hours, a pretty reasonable amount of time for portable speakers. The speakers also feature a cradle to place the iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPhone either vertically or horizontally which should be useful for movie lovers.

David Beckham treating himself to a new Bentley

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

With a BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche and Hummer in the garage, even the most dedicated of motor lovers might feel satisfied.
But not David Beckham.
The footballer unveiled the latest car in his collection yesterday – a silver Bentley.
As a Thanksgiving treat it certainly beats pumpkin pie.

But compared to wife Victoria’s $1.5million collection of Birkin handbags – all virtually identical – it perhaps doesn’t seem so wasteful.
The Bentley joins the fleet of vehicles on hand in the Beckham’s U.S. garage.
But with so many cars to choose from Beckham wasn’t at the Bentley’s wheel for long.
After taking it for a drive yesterday he later jumped into his Cadillac Escalade for a family trip to Nobu in Los Angeles.

This isn’t the first time the 34-year-old has splashed out on a Bentley.

His first, a £170,000 which he spent a further £70,000 customising, was left behind in the UK when he moved to Spain.

It was later put up for sale on AutoTrader, complete with a fridge, diamond cross handles and televisions in the rear seats.

Since moving to the States Beckham has been busy building his collection back up.
He is often spotted in a black – his preferred colour – £300,000 Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, which he uses as a runaround to collect his sons from school, trailed by security.
His wife favours a £100,000 customised Porsche with her initials embroidered into the headrests, and engraved on the cars alloy rims.
Beckham has a matching one – which cost £200,000.

For family trips the couple also use a £24,000 Jeep Wrangler.
Then there are his Aston martins – a V8 and a DB7. Another £120,000 was splashed out on a Lamborghini Gallardo.
And as for Ferraris, he has variously owned a 360 Spider, F430, F550 and 550 Maranello.

TomTom car kit for iPhone

car-kit-iphone

TomTom has introduced a car kit for the iPhone. Compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3GS (running OS 3.0 or later), it features a secure mount to dock the iPhone to the desired position on the car windshield or dashboard.

An adjustable mount securely rotates iPhone to either portrait or landscape mode for optimal positioning and widescreen route display. Voice instructions are provided through the built-in speaker and the integrated microphone and speaker also allow hands-free calling while driving.

TomTom claims that the built-in GPS receiver reduces the chance of signal drop out in areas where GPS reception is limited like cities with tall buildings or forested areas. Additional features include an iPhone charging facility and a facility to play music via the audio output (providing your car stereo has an audio input of course).

It will be available in the US on the TomTom web store and in US Apple online and retail stores in the near future.
